‍Help build the operational backbone of Saef as we redefine luxury watch security.‍

‍The role
In a team building serious hardware, someone has to make sure the parts actually arrive, the invoices are logged, and the office runs. As Office Manager at Saef you own the daily operations, ordering, and finance support that keep engineering unblocked and the company organised. When this role is done well, everyone else moves faster and nobody notices why. When it’s done badly, everything grinds.

‍What you’ll do
• Ensure parts, prototypes, and materials are ordered on time.
• If engineering is waiting, you take ownership and resolve it
• Keep purchasing and approvals organised and transparent, from small direct orders to larger spend requiring sign-off
• Support finance and bookkeeping with accurate, organised administration
• Keep the office running smoothly by managing suppliers, deliveries, and day-to-day logistics
• Bring structure and clarity to day-to-day operations as the company grows

‍What we’re looking for
• Experience in office management, operations support or finance administration
• Highly organised, reliable, and comfortable owning recurring processes without being reminded
• Good with numbers and careful with documentation and approvals
• Proactive and hands-on; the kind of person who sees what needs doing and does it
• Effective in a small, in-person, high-trust team

‍Nice to have
• Experience supporting a startup or hardware team
• Familiarity with procurement, bookkeeping tools, or basic finance workflows
• Comfort working in Dutch and English

About Saef
‍Saef is building the new protection standard for luxury watches. Invisible, always-on hardware goes into the watch. A phone app tells the owner where it is and that it’s safe. We’re a small, senior team of engineers and designers that treats this as a system-level problem: hardware, software, security, and trust, all built together. We’re launching with select partners, with beta planned in 2027. We can demo a real working product at any stage of development. That’s not a tagline. It’s how we work.
